The first action of the day came between the Westside Wolverines and the Seacoast Eagles in a game that came down to the final seconds in which the Wolverines were able to hold off the Eagles to secure the victory 38-37.

With 1:38 to go in the contest Westside's Chris Johnson would give his team the 38-36 lead after banking in a layup. The Eagles would have a few chances to either tie or take the lead but would fail to convert on each of their opportunities. With less than 20 seconds to go in the contest Eagles #5 would go 1/2 from the free throw line to cut the Westside lead to 38-37.

The Eagles would force a turn over on the Wolverines' ensuing possession. Westside would force a tough but makeable shot by the Eagles as time expired but the basket was no good. UConn commit(Football) Chris Johnson had an excellent game leading all scorers with 14 points including a buzzer beater 3 pointer just before halftime. Johnson controlled the boards as well collecting 17 Rebounds.

Westside improves to 5-5 on the season and Seacoast falls to 7-4.

The 2nd match up of the day came between the Ed White Commanders and the University Christian Fighting Christians. The Commanders had full control of the contest and led it wire to wire for the 57-50 win. Commanders' guard Kenneth Young balled out and led all scorers with 20pts including a buzzer 3 pointer at the end of the first quarter. Aaron Alexander had a much needed 13pts including a second half dunk that sparked the Ed White crowd.

With under 40 seconds remaining in the contest and the Commanders leading it 50-43, UC's Tyler Banker would nail a 3, and on their next 2 inbound plays Ed White would lose the ball and UC's Jerome Manning and Jules Rivera woud cash them in for layups. With just 19.7 seconds remaining and down 55-50. Both team would be able to add a late bucket and the Commanders hang on for the win. Kobe Denmark led UC with 13pts. The Commanders improve to 5-6 on the season and UC falls to 4-5.

The third and final game of the night resulted in a much needed blowout win for the Raines Vikings 69-33 over the Hope Christian Warriors for only their second victory of the season. The Vikings nailed (7) first half 3s and took a 49-17 lead into halftime.

The Vikings defense continued to smother and stifle the Warriors in the second half as they only scored 16pts in the final 2 frames. N. Ivey and James Little led the Vikings with 16pts each. Guards Kelvin Sermans and Reshawn Latimer played great as well and had 12, and 8 points respectively.

Michael Simmons led the Warriors with 16pts as well. Vikings' freshman bigman Makai Purkus had 4pts vs his former team.Purkus played varsity as an 8th grader last season for the Warriors. The Vikings improve to 2-8 on the season, and the Warriors fall to 5-9.
