DREAMKINGFILMZ TOP100 2018/2023 FOOTBALL PLAYERS

Updated: Jul 29, 2019

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA -

DreamKingFilmz Top 100 Middle School Football Players 2018/2023

Each player selected exhibited exceptional play on the field, as well as in the classroom. Players were nominated by their own, as well as opposing coaches, and team mates, game film, scouts, fans, from around north east Florida and the staff at DreamKingzFilmz. The list contains 200 names of some straight ballers from around the 904 who made waves, and turned heads this past season. All names mentioned on the list will go on to do some great things on, and off the field for their future respective programs.

Although we rank the top 11 players the list isn't a ranking, Its simply the best overall 100 players in our opinion. Names with an (*) next to it made the top100. Players not mentioned on the list shouldn't feel slighted or disrespected as the list is not an exact science, and sometimes for what ever reason players may go unnoticed, so we encourage you to send in your film for evaluation, and possibly a write up. DreamKingFilmz@gmail.com

Check out our youtube page DuvalCityFootball for the highlights, game films and scouting reports on the top 100 players. Scouting reports will be in the description section of TOP 100 VIDEOS.

2020/ATH TREYAUN WEBB - TRINITY CHRISTIAN
2023/ATH TREYAUN WEBB - TRINITY CHRISTIAN

The list doesn't reflect middle schoolers that primarily played varsity as they're ranked on our highschool list. The highly touted Rb/Db Treyaun Webb of Trinity Christian sits atop the list of those kids in our area. Webb a 6'0 phenom is regarded as one of the absolute best players in the country for the class of 2023. Webb was thrust into the national spot light last year by receiving his 1st offer as an 7th grader from University of Miami, and has since been offered by VSU,FAU, FLORIDA, GEORGIA, and GEORGIA TECH. Webb will be a key piece in TC's run at an 8th state championship this season.

TE/DE JEREMIAH SHAK OAKLEAF
TE/DE JEREMIAH SHAK OAKLEAF/MANDARIN - FAU, AND SSU OFFER

Webb isn't the only middle schooler to receive attention from college scouts, UC's Orel Gray has been getting plenty love from USF, and has already received a scholarship offer from Savannah St. Gray is 1 of the few players to make the list last year. Gray will most definitely make a huge impact for the Christians on varsity. The 6'2 180lbs man child Jeremiah Shak of Oakleaf received an offer from FAU, and Savannah St. after attending their camps. Shak's size and athleticism is ideal for recruiters, and he will be another prized recruit out of Mandarin where he will attend HS. During his stay at Oakleaf, Shak torched Clay Co. defenses catching 11 TD passes, but his biggest impact for the Jackets came on defense as he was virtually unstoppable coming off the edge registering 84 tackles, and 13 sacks.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2019 AND THE 2024 CLASS

QB Riley Trujillo, QB Jayden Jenkins, DB Jaycob Jones, ATh Terrance Copeland, and Tiant Wyche are some of the top kids returning in 2019. Trujillo, a 4.0 straight A student has all the tools, and work ethic to potentially be on long list of great Qbs from St. Johns Co., by the time he graduates high school. The 5'9 140lbs rifleman lit up county defenses to the tune of 1000yds passing and 12 total TDs. Liberty Pines should be the favorites to raise their county title trophy with Trujillo being undoubtedly one of the best in the 904.

Jenkins, a dual threat QB is an extremely gifted athlete, and can make 2 guys miss inside a phone booth when carrying the ball. Jenkins, a 3 way player is a special teams ace, and is just as good on defense, as he picked off several passes for the cougars and returned 1 for a touchdown.

Qbs, in Duval should be very afraid of Jones as he will be back, and fully healthy to pick off even more passes for the Gilbert Panthers, as they look to return their old championship form. The Speedster's role will expand to all phases in 2019, as the Gilbert will look to exploit the many talents of Jones in hopes of recapturing the north division crown, something they haven't done in 2 years. The playmaker, Terrance Copeland will also play a huge role for the Panthers in 2019, as he saw significant time last season. With Jones, and Copeland being no strangers to the end zone, the Panthers will have a very dynamic offense.

Mandarin's Ath Tiant Wyche played a major role for the Hawks as he helped them reach the 2018 playoffs where they ultimately fell short 32-0 against eventual champ Highlands. Wyche may be the smallest of the group, be he's just as hardworking and talented as any player in the area. Another small but talented kid Corey Carrol of the South Side Knights also turned plenty of heads last season as he was arguably the best 6th grader in middle school.

HIGHLANDS WILDCATS - ATH DESHYH BEAUFORT
HIGHLANDS WILDCATS - ATH DESHYH BEAUFORT

De'Shyh Beaufort rushed for 200yds, 3tds, and 1 INT during the 2018 Duval County Championship game win over Lakeshore. For his outstanding play in the title game Beaufort was name MVP, and was also selected to the DCPMS 2018 All Conference Team. 6'1 156lbs De'Shyh Beaufort is a complete athlete as he was also selected to DCPMS ALL CONFERENCE Basketball team, and won 3rd place in Duval County Track Finals for ShotPut with a distance of 13.18M. Beaufort can become one of Florida's prized recruits by the time he graduates from Raines by continuing to put in the work on and off the field. Beaufort ranked as #1 overall middle school player in Duval.

OAKLEAF YELLOWJACKETS - RB/LB DEVIN OUTLAW

Devin Outlaw is an absolute beast carrying the football, and has left his mark on the Oakleaf community by rushing for 1974yds, 23 TDs, and hauling in 4 receiving TDs. Outlaw helped deliver the Yellow Jackets a 2018 Clay Co. Championship by out rushing Sam Singleton of Lake Asbury. Singleton's 9 carries for 182yds and 4 TDs wasn't quite enough to match the constant battering of Outlaw on his 34 carries for 380yds and 5 TDs in the epic 41-40 contest. Outlaw was awarded 2018 Team MVP of the season. Devin excelled in multiple sports at Oakleaf as he starred on the diamond, track, and was awarded Defensive Player of the Year for the Jackets' basketball team. Outlaw ranked as #1 overall player in Clay Co. and will attend Oakleaf and bolster their backfield behind Ade Gray, and Kevin Davis.

RIBAULT COLTS - QB/DB TYRESE SMITH

Tyrese Smith nearly willed the Colts back to the playoffs but they ultimately fell short against eventual champ Highlands, and finished the season 7-1. The 6'1 150lbs playmaker was a nightmare for opponents as he scored in every phase of the game for the Colts, with several TDs of 50+ yards. Smith, a 3 sport standout for Ribault also starred on the court, he can wake up and drop 25 on you like it nothing. HE was selected to the DCMPS All Conference Team for football and basketball. Tyrese proved to be 1 of the highest leapers in the city by jumping 1.62M at the Duval Co. District Finals last month. Smith will attend Raines HS

MURRAY BULLDOGS RB/DB SEAN HARVEY
MURRAY BULLDOGS RB/DB SEAN HARVEY

6'0 180lb Sean Harvey, a man amongst boys is ranked as the #1 overall best player in St. John's Co. Harvey a physical down hill runner, has great foot work and excellent speed and can take it to the house from any spot on the field. Coach Chase took advantage of Harvey's athleticism by playing him in all phases of the game and it paid off as Harvey nearly helped the Bulldogs raise the title trophy but Murray was upset by the Landrum Lions 8-6 and finished the season 9-1. Former UF Gators standout, and current Murray assistant coach Bandon James can smile knowing the Yellow Jackets will be getting a key piece to their plans of bringing another state title to St. Augustine, something they haven't did since Coach James helped deliver their only 1 in 2005.

HIGHLANDS WILDCATS RB/DB MARCUS SOLOMON
HIGHLANDS WILDCATS RB/DB MARCUS SOLOMON

Solomon is an extremely gifted athlete, and with the ball in hands he's looking to house it every time. Solomon is a ball hawk on defense, and feels the balls belongs to him when it's in the air as he picked off several passes last season, none bigger than his late 1st half int vs Gilbert to end a promising drive. Solomon also scored a TD to help defeat Gilbert for the 1st time in 10 years. Highlands made the playoffs for the 1st time in school history by sweeping thru the North Divison on some terrific plays from Solomon. He scored on an 50+ yard TD run in a victory 20-0 victory over Ribault, and tacked on a 10yd TD run vs Kirby in a 22-0 win. Solomon's 70yd TD run vs Southside played a big factor in the Wildcats getting the 14-6 win over the Knights to finished the regular season undefeated. After defeating Mandarin 32-0, Solomon helped lead the Wildcats to their 1st ever County Championship, a 20-14 2OT thriller vs Lakeshore. Solomon was also selected to the DCPMS ALL CONFERENCE FOOTBALL TEAM. For the season Solomon registered 13 TDs and 3 int and will play his HS ball at First Coast.

GILBERT PANTHERS RB/DB JUSTIN BRADLEY
GILBERT PANTHERS RB/DB JUSTIN BRADLEY

Work horse Justin Bradley has joined the list of recent great Rbs to hail from GFye such as Jeremiah Huntley, Josh Jones, and Kevonte Doles. Bradley is a complete back as he got the power to run through defenders, the vision to find creases in the defense, and the speed to make a house call from long distance. Bradley had a great year for the Panthers scoring 14 total TDs (2 defense). Bradley put his speed on display going head to head with some of the 904's fastest guys in the Duval Co. Track Championships. Bradley's 11.46 100M run, was only good enough for 4th. Justin placed 3rd in the 200M by running a 23.97, and anchored the 4x1 relay team to a county title with a time of 45.64. Bradley was selected to both DCPMS All Conference Team for football, and track. Bradley will attend WestSide HS.

ARLINGTON VIKINGS LB/RB SAYVION BLOUNT
ARLINGTON VIKINGS LB/RB SAYVION BLOUNT

The 6'1 222lbs big man Sayvion Blount, is a no nonsense downhill runner with deceptive speed as he can pop it 80 yards for a TD. Blount barreled through defenders on td runs all season long to help keep the Vikings in playoff contention until a late season lost to Fletcher. Blount was just as dominant on defense as he smashed ball carriers, and delivered bone crushing hits to help lead one of the area's leading defenses. Sayvion was selected to the 2018 DCPMS All Conference for football. Blount also won the Duval County Shot Put Championship by throwing a distance of 14.00M. BLOUNT WILL ATTEND Sandalwood HS.

UC CHRISTIANS - RB/DB ORELL GRAY
UC CHRISTIANS - RB/DB ORELL GRAY

The speedster Orel Gray is a dynamic playmaker who's already making a name for himself on the varsity level. Called up to duty at the end of the season, Gray made a huge splash with 1 TD vs NFEI, and 1 TD, 2 INTs in a second round 42-20 playoff win over McClay. Gray has been working hard all summer long building off a terrific spring outing vs Bolles where he had several nice runs, and 2 forced fumbles. He will be a key piece in UC's plans to make another deep playoff run. Gray is an all around gifted athlete, and he's also nice on the court. Gray dropped 20 pts and logged 11 assist during their hoops championship over Bolles.

Lakeshore Warriors Cornelius Pender QB/DB

The homerun hitter Pender helped lead the Warriors to their 1st ever championship game appearance in which he scored 2 tds to force double overtime in a 20-14 loss to Highlands. Pender is very athletic, and fast. He can play any skill position on the field and will lay the wood on ball carriers. Pender is a high flyer as well, he has excellent hands and runs good routes. Pender was selected as a to the DCPMS ALL CONFERENCE TEAM and will be playing his high school ball in Waycross, Georgia for Ware Co HS.

FLETCHER SENATORS ATH DONALD LUNDY JR.
FLETCHER SENATORS ATH DONALD LUNDY JR.

The MVP of the Fletcher Senators Donald Lundy Jr. willed the Senators into the playoff with some terrific, and timely plays. Against district rivals Landmark, Lundy scored the go-ahead TD, and subsequent 2pt run to give the Senators an 14-8 lead in the bottom of the 4th. In the waning moments of the game Lundy picked off a pass to help defeat the Seahawks, and versus Arlington, Lundy picked off a late 4th quarter pass and raced 40yds to the house to help knock off the Vikings 22-6, and propel the Senators back into the playoffs after a rare miss in 2017. Lundy showed the ability to be a special teams ace as he outraced several speedsters from Jeff Davis to score on an 80yd yard kick return. Lundy logged 9 total TDs and 750 yards rushing. on defense, Lundy tacked on 40 tackles and 2 INTs. Lundy also starred for the Senators track club as he was selected to the DCPMS All Conference Team. Donald will attend Fletcher High, and will have a great opportunity to make a huge splash with the rest of the young but talented weapons at the beach.

Yulee Hornets Ath Zach Drawdy selected as Nassau County overall best middle school player for 2018. The 6'3 165lb ath stung opponents all season as he scored 15 TD,s 1161 all purpose yards, and 3 INTs enroute to a 2018 Nassau County Middle School Championship. Drawdy is the real deal as you can see from his film he has the speed to take a 5yd slant 80yds, or go up over DBs in the red zone for points. Drawdy is just as good on defense locking up receivers and denying QBs the opportunity to complete passes. Scouts have been flocking to the area over the past few years pleading for the services of DBs with the frame, and speed of Drawdy, so his recruiting stock will surely rise as he progresses over the years for Yulee HS.
