Former Ribault Standout Nola Carter Still Balling at Fort Valley State

Jacksonville's own, former Ribault Trojan Nola Carter of Fort Valley State Wildcats is still balling as she scored her 1000th career point on a layup vs Paine College in 68-58 win. Carter had an excellent all around game with 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. Carter's team high 19 points brought her career total to 1016 points.

The Wildcats' have been rolling these past 3 games starting on February 8th where they defeated Benedict College in a hard fought battle 63-60. Carter registered, 5 points 4 assist 2 steals 1 block in that contest.

On February 10th, Carter helped defeat Paine College again with 22 points and 8 rebounds. The Wildcats are coming off a 48-38 home victory over Albany State and will ride a 3 game winning streak to Savannah State on February 22nd to take on the

(13-7) Tigers for their final regular season home game at Tiger Arena.

Coming off an ankle injury that sidelined Carter for the Albany State contest, she will to look to improve on her previous performance vs the Tigers in which she registered 9 point, 8 rebound, and 6 assist as they were defeated on January 18th by a score of 78-65. Le'Andre Willis scored 27 points including (5) 3s in the contest for the Tigers.
