TRINITY CONQUERORS 34-7 3RD ROUND BLOWOUT OVER BOLLES BULLDOGS RECAP

WESTSIDE JACKSONVILLE -

The #1 Trinity Conquerors (13-0) defeated their crosstown rival the Bolles Bulldogs (8-5) in blowout fashion for the 2nd time this season. The 34-7 victory proved that Trinity was just too much for Bolles this season, and at least a 27 point win would be the outcome no matter the field or weather being that this playoff game was played at Trinity under torrential rains and the earlier week4 contest was held at Bolles with perfect weather conditions. Ohio St. commit RB Marcus Crowley continued to dominate the Bulldogs' defense as he rushed 18 times for 268 yards and 3 touchdowns. Crowley's 2 game totals vs Bolles are 38 rushes, 432 yards and 5 TDs. Crowley's 3 game 2018 playoff totals are now up to 596 yards and 6 TDs.

Kel McCloud 2yd Td run would cap a 9 play 66yd drive which lasted 4:18. to give the Bulldogs the 7-0 lead. Trinity would tie the game on their ensuing possession with Crowley's 60yd TD run. Those TDs would be the only scores of the 1st half. In the 2nd half the Conquerors would pour down on the Bulldogs when Marcus Crowley cashed in on Johnathan Ealy's forced fumble with a 39yd TD run on the ensuing play. After a Goal line stand by the Conquerors Crowley would give Trinity an insurmountable 21-7 lead as he popped a 90yd TD run for his 3rd of the game. The Game would get totally out of hand when Stephen Williams scooped up a fumble and raced 31yds to the house to give Trinity a 28-7 lead. Late in the 4th frame 8th grade phenom Treyon Webb end the scoring after he dashed 94yds on a 3rd and 50. Trinity will now play host to 12-2 North Marion Colts for the right to play for the 5A state championship in December.
